Chester Hill Public School Murals Sydney
This is a school mural project I painted in Sydney. It was at Chester Hill Public School in the City of Canterbury-Bankstown. I had previously painted a mural for their school canteen when I was invited back to paint these large-scale school murals.
The direction for the new murals was to revitalise the existing buildings to contribute towards a more positive space at the school.
By using a theme of nature, fun and imagination then expressed through colours and creative creatures a series of murals were painted around the school. The murals shared similar colours and at times overlapped visual characters too. This helped keep it all consistent and flow from one space to the next.
The response from the students and teachers has been positive and the school mural project is to be considered a successful addition to the positive school community.

You can view the full school canteen mural makeover too if you like. I painted this before painting this mural project in Sydney.
kindergarten murals
after completing this school mural project the teachers from the kindergarten area wished to have some murals too which you can see the final kindergarten murals in my mural folio.
