Mural for Tennis Australia in Canberra
This was a mural project I painted for Tennis Australia for a club in Canberra.
The mural was painted on a practice wall for tennis players. The artwork had to encourage a playful approach that would be engaging for both young and old players.
The wall mural had to be engaging but also serve the purpose of identifying the net height and not be too distracting above that net height.
By using a colourful play with typography and graphical elements from tennis the word PLAY was used along with the top area suggestive of movement and swinging of a tennis racket.
If interested you can also view the murals for Turner Tennis Club also in Canberra.
