Narrabundah College Mural
This street Art at Narrabundah College in Canberra was a custom mural created in consultation with the students and teachers.
The mural is located in a highly visible area with students, teachers, and even the public walking past outside of school hours.
The mural’s purpose was to help create a more engaging and positive space wall reflecting some of the subjects taught within the building. Local birds of Canberra were included in the mural too.
Students and even some staff participated in helping paint the mural. Some students included the mural painting experience as part of their curriculum.
The mural gives a positive and engaging change to the location that has made a good impact on the people who use the space.
