Evatt Shop Mural in Canberra
The Evatt shops in Canberra are undergoing improvements, including the addition of new murals to enhance the area’s look and feel. These upgrades, part of a broader initiative to revitalize local shopping precincts, are designed to encourage community members to shop locally and spend more time in their suburb.,
This mural project was initiated by Transport Canberra & City Services.
One of the entrance areas to the Evatt shops was looking a bit neglected over the years. The new mural was created to be a more inviting experience for people who use the shops and pedestrians who pass this area each day.
Mural with Magpies, Golden Sun Moth and Colours
Evatt shops have undergone a major transformation with the addition of this new 24m-long mural.
The mural was created with the use of magpies, graphical elements of the Golden Sun Moth and colour to add dynamic vibrancy to the mural. The surrounding tree colours influenced elements of the mural with the use of greys and an eucalyptus green.
