60m Long Mural for Stockland Wetherill Park
This mural was a part of the Laneways Art Project, Celebrating the Community by Stockland in Sydney. The overall concept for the mural design was to “Welcome and Embrace”, enhancing feelings of joy as the community enters the building.
The wall was approximately 60m by 6.5m and shared a common public space with Prairiewood T-Way. In addition, another mural was also painted in an internal corridor that connects with the exterior mural.
The internal mural used a more refined colour palette, which was seen as a calming selection of colours.
Mural to Welcome and Embrace
This mural concept serves as a bright gateway, welcoming and embracing people entering the building. A colourful and joyous experience that mixes words of care and illustration, reflecting the community. The overall design will try to encompass a community living together that is diverse, and also as a collective.
Stockland Mural Workshop
As part of the large-scale mural was a community mural workshop. The mural workshop was for young art enthusiasts aged between 16 and 22 years old. They got to be involved in installing a large-scale artwork in the Stockland Wetherill Park community corridor. Students got to learn painting techniques and visual language in a collaborative session.

The Corridor Mural
As part of this mural project, the inner corridor was also painted with a mural.
The meeting place to start the mural workshop was at the T-Way corridor entry at Stockland Wetherill Park.
