Street Artist Performance for Sydney New Years Eve Fireworks
To help add to the celebration this street art was for Sydney NYE 2020. The location was on the Cahill Expressway which overlooked Circular Quay facing the Sydney Harbour Bridge fireworks. The project was funded by Transport for NSW.
Live Mural Painter
My responsibility was to arrive before visitors to the bridge and be ready to start painting the mural as people walked onto the main viewer area. After the event was finished I then had to clean up the site and left it in an excellent condition for removal of the wall.
The mural was around 15 metres long and had to be completed with a limited timeframe on the night. Thousands of people viewed the street art as the mural was set up at the main entry point on the Cahill Expressway.
The mural captures the festival vibes of a happy crowd along with the colourful display and artforms of the fireworks.
