Mural Design for Nike & Foot Locker Store
Nike engaged Space Between to deliver an enhanced basketball space within the new Foot Locker store on Albert St in Brisbane.
HAPPY DECAY was approved by Nike as a mural artist to deliver custom artwork for a mural-sized banner behind the fixtures, which expands to a pillar wrap and digital pillar creative within the Foot Locker store in Brisbane.
Part of the work also included having the mural design to be used in motion graphics for a digital pillar.
Mural Design Phase
The mural artwork needed to be produced in a very short turnaround time which included initial sketches & colour palettes. This was then followed by fleshing out designs and then design assets ready for the outcome and store installation.
The overall design direction for the mural artwork was to focus on the game and culture of basketball.
