The first mural was painted to help soften the interior area of the campus for staff and students. Included in the mural work was painting live during the campus orientation day.
As well as the common area with the bird mural, the Sydney Torrens University wanted to make its main entrance area more welcoming.
The second mural used some of the local bush flowers and flora of the Sydney area, with an artistic twist to make it more engaging and unique
