Darwin street art festival 22 MAY – 5 JUNE
Darwin Street Art Festival is based in the unique tropical city of Darwin, on Larrakia land in the Northern Territory. This place is home to a creatively rich and diverse community of artists whose work has enlivened our streets and enriched our lives since 2017.
Benalla Street Art Festival 17–19 April
Every April, the streets of Benalla burst into colour as artists from across Australia and around the world transform the town into a giant open-air gallery.

Surface Festival Canberra 4-6 March

More Things Like This Shellharbour 26th January
More Things Like This is a mural festival across the Shellharbour region. Featuring the likes of David Cragg, Claire Foxton, Scott Nagy, & Krimsone the event will spotlight many of our countries best muralists.
Tasmania Vibrance – FEBRUARY 22–28
Vibrance supports Tasmanian creatives working in street art and graffiti. As an organisation, we collaborate with businesses and individuals to bring colour to the walls of the city of Hobart.
Big Picture Festival – Frankston city centre 15th – 21st of March.
Frankston City Council and the festival curator are seeking Expressions of Interest from street artists, muralists or signwriters who are either current residents of Frankston, have previously been residents or who have an affiliation/love for Frankston to create an artwork on selected walls during the 2021 festival.
Brisbane Street Art Festival (BSAF) – 1st to 16th May
BSAF is an annual public art event that seeks to provide opportunities for creative practitioners, street artists and the wider community to develop positive partnerships through engagement and collaboration.
Griffith Banna Lane Festival – 3rd to 8th May
Banna Lane Festival is a not-for-profit public art initiative focused on curating a series of large-scale murals throughout Banna Lane in the CBD of Griffith NSW Australia.
In partnership with Griffith City Council and local business owners, Banna Lane Festival will activate four mural sites in Banna Lane and host a series of activities throughout the week.
Canberra Street Art Festival – planned for the 5-7th November
So there are rumours around that Canberra will have its first major street art festival in November. I will update with more info as I hear about it.

Note from the Banna Lane Festival: “We’ve decided to not hold the festival this year. I am very disappointed but we felt it would be better to ensure we can maintain the festival’s credibility rather than trying to make it work under these circumstances.”
