This week I am heading out to Griffith to facilitate a workshop for the youth and also create custom artworks for two ping pong tables in Griffith.
I will be using some of my digital artwork and then painting it onto the ping pong tables. The workshops for the youth will be helping show the process of creating your artwork and then painting this onto ping pong table bats.
The ping pong artwork and workshop will be a part of the Street Scapes Griffith initiative along with that of the Banna Lane festival by the Griffith City Council.
Banna Lane Festival Writes:
We are going to add a bit of creative flair to these two ping pong tables next week, which have been a real hit on the Street Scapes Griffith site.
We welcome artist HAPPY DECAY to help liven up these tables with some of his fun and bold designs and turn the ordinary into something extraordinary.
As part of our youth program, we will also be running a FREE illustration class for those who love to draw, especially in the same cartoon and comic style as our artist.
Please note: this class is for older primary through to high school kids only.
