New Relic – Sydney Office Mural
New Relic is a San Francisco, California-based technology company that develops cloud-based software to help website and application owners track the performances of their services. They have offices all around the world including Sydney.
My responsibility as a street artist for their Sydney office was to add a vibrant and diverse mural but also not distracting for those who work there. I had to consider an existing mural theme in the office too.
With the use of textures, layers, colours and the iconic bold magpie of Australia two murals were painted in the office space. The magpie helped tie in with some of the Australian naming conventions in place in the office. Also, a colour from the main branding of the New Relic logo was also used to help tie in the murals with some of the other office stylings.
