This mural project has now gone live, see Canberra College Dining Hall Mural
As a muralist one of the enjoyable parts is working with other people to help paint a community mural. I will be joining the John XXIII residential community in N-week, starting Sunday 7 February 2021 to paint a mural in the main dining hall in Canberra.
I will be integrating a mural workshop to be a part of an innovative arts initiative called the Belonging Project, which aims to create a connection between the J23 student the leadership team and new residents through a shared arts-focus and goal, creating belonging to the community in a short period of time.
I have been having a series of pre mural workshops with the students to prepare the mural design and direction.
I will update the mural project once it’s completed.
