Recently I had one of the teachers from the Creative and Performing Arts department from Batemans Bay highschool ask me about running a one-day mural workshop at the school.
The one day workshop with the students will cover the design process, some of the basic skills and techniques required for painting the mural.
As a part of the workshop with the students, we will look at three steps for creating the mural.
- What does space feel like? (make note of the positives and negatives)
- Who uses the space, who should the mural be for?
- What do we want the mural to reflect within the space?
The workshop will take place in mid-November. I will update this page once the custom mural workshop outline is final.
The mural will be painted onto a brick wall at the Batemans Bay High School in the seniors area.
Before the day long mural workshop begins we will have a 50-minute meeting with the student’s pre-workshop.
