Mosman Carpark Mural
This 30-metre mural changed what was a largely negative space into a positive experience, adaptable to both young and old, with natural, playful elements to invoke the imagination.
Last year, I transformed dull multi-level stairwells into a kaleidoscope of popping colour and playful patterns across 200 square metres. Now, I’ve created a second Council-commissioned mural at the carpark, bringing more whimsical designs to life for pedestrians.
Fresh bursts of colour and imagination are painted across the wall, transforming the carpark into an immersive art experience. You’ll find playful depictions of cats, birds and clouds brightening the journey for pedestrians entering and exiting the well-utilised carpark.
My intention was to turn what had been a largely negative space into a positive experience — one adaptable to both young and old — using natural, playful elements to spark the imagination.
This latest street artwork complements the existing mural adjacent to the main car park entrance, contributing to the growing presence of public art throughout Mosman.
