Mural Artists Insurance
Insurance for Mural Artists who are working in the public space, councils or companies will find they will need to have some form of insurance coverage. Below I will add a few options that are both short and long-term options.
Mural Artist Short-Term Public Liability Insurance
Short-term forms of insurance are great for artists who may be participating in street art festivals, This was how I first come to hear about the below insurance for a mural festival.
View: Duck for Cover
You can go through their options though as a mural artist, the one I used was Category 1 which covers mural artists though only from working on the ground or a ladder.
Tick the option Visual Artist/Craft Artist (including drawing, painting, sculpture, craft).
(EXCLUDES cover for photography, filmmaking, animation, prop and set making/design, installations, graphic design, costume/fashion design, jewellery making, glass blowing/glass work, metal work, floristry or flower arranging, and woodwork.)
You can also add the option of a Professional Indemnity Certificate of Currency too.
Long Term Public Liability Insurance
For long-term insurance options which cover you for the year, you can view Guildhouse or The National Association for the Visual Arts (NAVA) Liability Insurance NAVA Premium Plus Membership
