Mural Workshop at Batemans Bay High School
The headteacher from the Creative and Performing Arts department from Batemans Bay high school contacted me in regards to running a mural workshop.
The mural workshop was for year 11 students and the area for painting a mural was in the senior area. The area was surrounded by grey painted walls so a mural that would be vibrant was requested to give the area some uplift.
Before the actual mural day of painting, we spent a few hours going over things the students would like for the mural to reflect. I collected the ideas and went away and then submitted 3 concepts back to the students based on their input.
Mural Workshop Process
On the day of the mural, the students were responsible for the complete painting of the mural with guidance in regards to the best way to approach the mural painting.
