Street Art Mural for Dogs ACT Canberra Shipping Container
This street art project was for Dogs ACT in Canberra. The mural was painted onto shipping containers on the grounds at Exhibition Park in Canberra. As you are heading on the Highway towards Sydney near the traffic lights at Stirling Ave intersection, you can get a glimpse of it on your left.
First had to clean down the shipping containers before starting the mural work. Once that was done the area was fenced off as the street art took place while there was a three-day dog show going on.
As a fan of pug dogs, the artwork that I was to paint onto the shopping containers definitely shared the characteristics of the pug dog personality and psyche.
The last time I was in Canberra was creating street art for the University of Canberra.

Also a big thanks to Lisa Petheram of Graffiti Management Coordinator at ACT Government for contributing with suppling of paint from Sancho’s Dirty Laundry in Canberra. I’ll be getting some spray cans for the mural as well as some tins of paint too.
