Street Artist from Moruya Paints Mural in Batemans Bay
I was grateful to be one of the selected street artists to paint a mural in Batemans Bay as part of the River of Art Revive mural festival.
The mural was painted on the wall of North and Perry Streets, carpark entry to Woolworths.
By using street art I was able to help activate a space that is frequently used by people who are going shopping. The wall was prone to vandalism and other forms of damage to it.
The aim of painting this vibrant and fun mural is to hopefully give uplight to people who are walking by it. With the mural I had a number of community members help with painting it too.
The mural works at large scale, so from viewing it from afar. When you get up close there are also little bits of details to delight the viewer.
